This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was grown in the Passion Pit Vineyard on the Cawston bench just a stone throw from Orofino. The vineyard used to be a commercial gravel pit and the favorite spot for late night romantic rendezvous. Ask any local about the Passion Pit and you will likely get a shy smile or a twinkle in their eye. The wine spent 20 months in the finest French and American oak barrels and was bottled unfined and unfiltered. It shows classic ripe cabernet characteristics of red fruit, tobacco and cigar box that mingle with toasty oak and rich, fine tannins. Cellar-worthy. Best after 2012. 125 cases produced.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon Passion Pit Vineyard
This single vineyard syrah is grown just south of the Cawston Bench at the picturesque Scout Vineyard. The grapes are grown in rocky soils and cropped to under 2 tons per acre. The resulting wine is awash with gamey notes with brambly fruit and black pepper playing a supporting role. Aged 20 months in mostly new French oak barrels, this wine will reward proper and extended cellaring. This initial syrah release was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Best after 2013. 90 cases produced.
100% syrah Scout Vineyard
After missing the 2009 vintage, we are happy to say that our chardonnay 2010 is now available! Sorry to make you wait so long.(We had a few harsh emails about the skipped vintage)! The 2010 is definetely our style of wine. It is big, rich and loaded with meyer lemon and tropical flavours. 40% was fermented and aged in barrel and 60% done in stainless steel. No malolactic fermentation took place to retain bright and fresh flavours. The grapes come from Blind Creek Vineyard which is about a 10 minute walk from the winery. We'll happily drink this over the next 5 years. Only 160 cases produced.
100% Chardonnay Blind Creek Vineyard
This is a delicious wine that is made from our old muscat and riesling vines. Those of you who snapped up our Late harvest Muscat will want to stock this pretty wine as it shows all of that delicate orange blossom and floral notes we all love from our muscat wines and has a nice fresh lip-smacking finish that goes on and on. The grapes for this wine were picked and pressed in bone-chilling -14 degree temperatures (extreme icewine conditions!). We made 50 cases of 200ml bottles. It is perfect (and affordable) decadence!
The Orofino style of Riesling focuses on opulent flavours and expression of the Similkameen dirt. The wine has a rich mouth feel with a fine balance of acidity with a small amount of residual sugar. Lime, mango, pineapple, green apple.... this wine has a multitude of potential food pairings from baked ham to seafood, to summer salads. The grapes are sourced from our vineyard's old vines, our neighbour's vineyard and a one acre Riesling planting just south of Cawston. This is Riesling terroir!
100% Riesling Orofino, Hendsbee, and Scout Vineyards, Similkameen Valley
The grapes for this wine were grown in 2 distinct vineyard sites. The Hendsbee Vineyard is right beside Orofino on the hot Cawston Bench. The Scout Vineyard grapes come from a block grown right beside the Similkameen River about 10kms south of our winery. The wine was pressed after several hours of skin contact and was then fermented in stainless steel. It shows orchard fruit with melons and a pronounced minerality. Very dry with good acidity makes this an excellent food wine. 165 cases produced.
100% Pinot GrisHendsbee and Scout Vineyards, Similkameen Valley
The grapes grown for this pinot noir all come from our estate vineyard. 4 different blocks of pinot planted to 4 different clones. Some of the vines are now 22 years old. The wine spent 16 months in the finest French oak barrels before being blended and bottled unfiltered and unfined. Classic pinot noir elements of cherry and spice with hints of earth are displayed. Gentle handling and minimal intervention in the winery helps to complete this beautiful wine. It will age gracefully if cellared properly. Only 75 cases produced.
100% Pinto NoirOrofino Estate Vineyard, Similkameen Valley
The premium merlot grapes for this wine were grown by Chris Scott in his fabulous 5 acre Oak Knoll vineyard. It was aged in the best american and french barrels for 16 months and then bottled unfined and unfiltered. Like the Similkameen landmark it is named after, this wine shows excellent structure, bold colour, and significant length. This is the 5th vintage we have put Oak Knoll merlot exclusively into Red Bridge.

We are very proud to release our signature Bordeaux blend that is grown and produced right here on the Cawston Bench! This is a big red that has spent 20 months in the finest French and American barrels and then bottled unfiltered and unfined. We also aged it a further 6 months in bottle before release. It is a true reflection of our terroir and a worthy follow-up to our previous vintages. This wine will age well in the bottle over the next 5-7 years!!

The grapes were picked at a low brix level to accentuate the flavours of the grapes and to develop a fresh, food-friendly wine. Aged 4 months in older French oak barrels, this wine is full of fresh, bright red fruit with notes of white pepper. 75 cases produced.
