Spring Release Guide

Spring Sippers Have Arrived

Your Guide to Our New Releases

These wines should come with a warning: highly gulpable… and we think you’ll agree.

There’s something about spring in the Similkameen that just feels like a fresh start – longer days, a little more sunshine, and finally… a new lineup of wines to match the season.

Whether you’re stocking up for patio afternoons, picnics, or just a well-earned glass at the end of the day, our latest releases are here and ready to be enjoyed. Consider this your inside guide to what’s new, what to expect, and what not to miss (because yes… some of these won’t last long).

Orange 2025

Let’s start with the one that started a lot of conversations. Not long ago, it was “what is orange wine?”… quickly followed by “okay, I love your orange wine”… and eventually “when can I get more?”

Well — the wait is over.

This year’s release might just be our best yet. Crafted from Muscat and Gewürztraminer with careful skin contact, it bursts with floral aromatics, orange blossom, apricot, and a touch of spice. The texture is what really sets it apart – gentle tannins give it structure and a dry, satisfying finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.

If you’ve been waiting, wondering, or already obsessed — this one’s for you.

Pozza Vineyard Rosé 2025

Spring in a glass.

This vintage is beautifully balanced and crisp, with just the right amount of zest to keep things bright and refreshing. Slightly deeper in colour than previous years, but still very much our signature style – dry, light, and endlessly drinkable.

Expect vibrant red fruit, citrus lift, and a subtle savoury edge (hello, sage and a hint of jalapeño). It’s the kind of wine that belongs in a picnic basket, on a patio table, or poured generously for friends.

A little heads up: this one has a habit of disappearing early every season.

Riesling 2025 (Clone 239 & 21B)

Our Rieslings are a cornerstone – and for good reason.

Grown on the Cawston Bench, these wines showcase that unmistakable Similkameen minerality paired with bright, mouthwatering acidity. They’re vibrant now, but built to evolve beautifully over time (yes, we’re talking 10+ years).

  • Clone 239 (Dry): Focused, fresh, and precise with notes of lime and stone.
  • Clone 21B (Semi-Dry): Juicy, floral, and expressive with green apple, lime cordial, and a delicate sweetness balanced by crisp acidity.

Two expressions, one shared story – and both unmistakably Orofino.

Pinot Gris 2025

Sometimes, you just want a wine that’s… yummy.

This is that wine.

Bright, clean, and full of orchard fruit – think apple and pear layered over that classic Similkameen wet stone minerality. It’s versatile, easy to love, and incredibly easy to reach for again and again.

Also worth noting: it’s another one of our fastest-moving wines every year… so don’t wait too long.

Gamay 2025

Ah yes – the one that quietly builds a cult following year after year.

Our Gamay has earned a bit of a reputation for being dangerously easy to enjoy… light, bright, juicy, and undeniably gulpable (we did warn you).

Crafted with a portion of whole berry fermentation, this wine leans into freshness and vibrancy while still offering just enough depth to keep things interesting. Expect lively notes of cranberry, red peppercorn, and a subtle herbal edge, all wrapped up in a soft, easy-drinking texture.
Slightly hazy in the glass and best served with a light chill, it’s the kind of wine that fits just about any occasion – from casual hangs to full-on summer evenings with friends.

If you know, you know… and if you don’t yet — this is your year to find out.

Semi-Carbo MF 2025

This one? We’re keeping a little mystery around it.

What we can say is this: it’s not what you expect – and that’s exactly the point.

Made using semi-carbonic maceration, this wine is fresh, vibrant, and surprisingly easy-drinking for something so deeply coloured. Low tannins, juicy black and blue fruit, a hint of pepper, and a wild, savoury edge make it unlike anything else in the lineup.

It’s the kind of wine that sparks curiosity… and then quickly becomes a favourite.

Pro tip: give it a slight chill and bring it to your next BBQ. Trust us.
