Pinot Noir seems to like our site here on the Cawston bench. We blend 5 clones of Pinot Noir from various blocks of vines planted as far back as 1989. Inviting notes of violets, peppercorns, and cherry chocolate. This wine was aged in a combination of 10% new French oak & 10% concrete tank, with the remainder spending time in older or neutral barrels for 17 months. Wild fermented. Unfined and unfiltered. Great aging potential!
This very special small batch wine was thoughtfully crafted and aged in the finest French oak barrels, 30% of which were new. A bit more depth, tannin, structure and spiciness than our other Syrah from this vintage. Gold Medal winner at 2023 All Canadian Wine Championships
This red blend has a strong following every vintage. The name is a nod to a local landmark bridge that crosses the Similkameen River. Juicy and approachable and just straight up delicious.
This vineyard was formerly a commercial gravel pit that doubled up as the local make-out spot for young lovers. We could use descriptors like luscious, spicy, juicy, sexy and lip-smacking to describe this gorgeous cabernet but that would be too easy.
